Originally Kempo (or Kenpo) was founded in the Chinese martial art hundeds years. A hard style, the precursor for most of today's martial arts with many circular movements. I've also read that it has been ported to an invasion of Japan in China and thus mitosis family's learned and to Grand Master James. But I realize that it completely lacks a circular motion, it is more like karate (linear) and Dr. mitosis called it Kempo Jiu Jitsu (Japanese Mix Chinese art and perhaps?). My question is, although excellent effect, how close is Professor Mitose's Kempo, the original art. My source is a Chinese-transcripts and of course Dr. mitosis Guide "Kempo Jiu Jitsu."
Unfortunately, no one will ever know exactly, because it is a known fact that James Mitose was mentally disturbed and very selfish. In his later years, he has canceled all his black belt with the exception of a few, including termination of Ed Parker, the one his highest ranking students at a time. Mitosis was aggressive and rude ... his attitude had little to do with his abilities, but he was famous for bringing Kempo to Hawaii more than anything else. Mitosis was also accused of the murder to his character witness, which was known to be very flawed. When mitosis in which he passed with him the truth of its history and studies. He would change his stories often and its regime, and never gave a credible evidence or evidence of his knowledge what a shame is, for he was very good at Kempo.
