Fine Chinese Red Red Dog has bumps and crusts of skin? please help?
I have a 6 month old Chinese Crested puppy and she has an area under their Neck had for a while that they wuld new raw materials, but we just thought it was dry skin. Then she began to get small red bumps on the skin about 2 days ago and now they are all over it and some are too crusty. We spoke with the vet and he said to her benadryl and if it isn't better Monday but it brings in its worse become, and he said, so long as the eyes Arent swelling or her throat, it will be good until Monday. But I was only wiondering what it might be and if I culd get nothing PetSmart to help her.
I had the same problem with my dog. The veterinarian treated the symptoms with Benadryl, but it came back. The veterinarian discovered her allergy to wheat. When I took my dog lamb and rice and made sure not treated wheat, the problem went away.
