Chinese Shanxi China and swine flu Shanxi Provence?
I've got a job at a Chinese university in Shanxi Provence, but the recruiter me that local authorities in Shanxi provence said a temporary ban on foreigners that has especially been a part of China, caused by swine flu have someone know whether this is true, and no precise information would be most welcome.
I had a job in Shandong by ANESL. It seemed good, then suddenly the school all communication with me and the advertiser is no longer ANESL, claimed that it was because the local government has stopped issuing invitation letters / RP 's because of the swine flu. That was about two months ago. Two days ago I received an e-mail in that school - they sound a little desperate for a teacher. Suddenly, when the semester is approaching, there is no reference to restrictions arising from swine flu and they did not want me to holiday in talking with me. I had a job offer from a school in Taiyuan, Shanxi and even if it does not get to the point where they apply, have been for an invitation letter for me, we exchanged many e-mails and it is certainly not how it would be a Problem seem to be. I has a place in the province of Shaanxi, and they are mailing the invitation this week - also no mention of swine flu issues. It is quite possible that there is some limitations, because the swine flu, but I would feel very skeptical that they do not do the invitations. The fact that a whole province of hundreds if not thousands one million or more students were from English teachers for the classes are not already registered and in some cases, already paid for. I have no concrete possibility to learn, sure, what does the Shanxi provincial government, but based on my experience as an English teacher in China in three weeks that the same thing that has heard me, guided it seems true as an excuse / way for schools to "face" - and not only say the teachers are not allowed and / or necessary are, some seem to do with this excuse.
