Carved Wood Figurines I'm) interested in taking up wood carving (figures, and I need to know which tools to get.?

Xacto a knife or a pocket knife would be a good start. You can make a beautiful xacto Kit on a hobby or craft store bout to buy for 10-20 dollars. I use a well Dremel tool. You can buy a basic model for about 30-40 dollars at home depot. If you buy a cheap Harbor Frieght, you mark off for about 10-12 U.S. dollars can to get. Those with more accessories, but could cost more, the investment will be worth. I carve in linden wood, as it is very soft. Buy a block of it and we can use it for several Projectz. I also use a Dremel tool. You can buy a basic model for around 30-40 dollars.
